But I heard its one of those things SCT probably doesn't want you to know. The way I have it figured, if I wanted to, I could probably tune any 96-98 GT ecu I wanted, but I would have to start by loading the GGL4 file. The new box worked fine once I put my old tune in it. I found the processor/box codes online somewhere. It was something like ML-229 as I recall. So I ended up buying a different ecu code, but that had the same box number. When I suspected my GGL4 ecu was bad, I couldn't find another one. Each computer code you buy will actually work for any of the same ECU processor code, or hardware code (which I believe probably means the same thing as any strategy). Oh, by the way, I found some interesting things out along the way.
